1. Tool Inputs and Client-Side Processing

The tools provided on Utility Hub (such as text formatters, JSON validators, calculators, hash/encoding tools, and generators) are designed to execute client-side within your browser.

When you type, paste, or configure data inside our tool interfaces, that data is processed locally by your browser using JavaScript. We do not transmit, collect, or store the contents of your tool inputs on our backend servers. What you enter into a tool interface remains in your local browser session.

2. Server Requests and Hosting Log Data

When you navigate to Utility Hub, your web browser requests static files (HTML pages, stylesheets, JavaScript scripts, and web fonts) from our hosting infrastructure and content delivery network (CDN).

Like virtually all web hosts, the servers providing these static assets automatically record standard technical request metadata in web server logs. This may include:

• Your Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser type and operating system version (User-Agent string)
• The date, time, and URL path of the requested resource
• Referring website address, if provided by your browser
• HTTP response status codes and byte sizes

This server-level log data is used strictly by our hosting infrastructure for network operations, mitigating denial-of-service (DDoS) attempts, detecting malicious traffic, and ensuring reliable asset delivery.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies: Utility Hub does not currently use cookies to track individual visitors, monitor cross-site behavior, or maintain user profiles.

Local Storage: We may use your browser's native localStorage feature solely to store client-side interface preferences (such as light or dark theme selection, or tool display options). LocalStorage data is stored solely on your device, does not contain personal identifiers, and is not transmitted to our servers.

4. Analytics

Utility Hub does not currently deploy invasive user tracking or fingerprinting analytics. If aggregated, privacy-respecting traffic measurement is introduced in the future, it will operate without personal tracking cookies or cross-site profiling, and this policy will be updated to disclose the provider and scope.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Networks

Utility Hub displays advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, primarily Google AdSense, to fund infrastructure costs, domain hosting, and ongoing tool development.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and web beacons to serve advertisements based on a user's prior visits to Utility Hub or other websites across the Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized or contextual ads based on your visits to our site and other destinations online.

You have clear, accessible options to manage your advertising preferences and opt out of personalized tracking:

Our guides and documentation may contain hyperlinks to external websites, such as technical specifications (RFCs), standards bodies (W3C), and educational resources (MDN Web Docs). Utility Hub does not operate or control these third-party websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices, policies, or content. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

7. Data Retention

Because we do not require account creation, collect contact details, or ingest your tool inputs, Utility Hub does not store, retain, or maintain personal databases of user content.

Standard server logs collected at the hosting layer are retained temporarily by the infrastructure provider in accordance with industry security standards and are automatically purged on a regular schedule.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your local browser data:

• You can clear your browser cache, cookies, and local storage at any time via your browser settings.
• You can use privacy-oriented browser configurations, private/incognito browsing windows, or content-blocking extensions.
• Note that because our tools run via JavaScript in your browser, disabling JavaScript entirely will prevent interactive tool functionality from executing.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or technical updates (for example, upon the future integration of third-party advertising or analytics services). Any updates will be published directly on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Utility Hub after any modification signifies your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
